the mission to cut the federal government by $2 trillion. What is to be done? I welcome Veronique de Rijie of the Mercatus Center

writing most recently at Reason Magazine. How to do it? Two trillion. Veronique, a very good evening

to you. I am familiar with Elon Musk because of SpaceX. I follow the story very carefully. What I understand is as a boss,

he's very easy to work for if all you do is work as hard as you can and put as much effort

as you can into the mission at hand. That's Elon Musk at SpaceX. That's why the successes. No hesitation.

He's also a risk taker.

SpaceX is the product of him taking a risk on the fourth test after three failures in his first effort to win a contract from NASA.

That's more than 15 years ago.

So combining risk-taking with $2 trillion, can it be done?

Yeah, you're right about Laske.

I'm reading his biography, and it's crazy how much he works.

And of course, he expects people to be as passionate as

him so and I'm hoping that he's going to dedicate the same amount of energy at cutting government

spending and one of the things that I was thinking about is that we can all come up with our

list of things we would like to

see go away. But probably the best advice I could give, whomever is going to be in charge of

really cutting, is to actually think about categories of things that we should first look at.

And there are two categories that seem to me very important.
