I'm still so weird to call him Mr. Mount Bad Windsor.

His public life has effectively been ended with removal of his titles.

He will no longer be known as a prince, and we've learned that he's been struck from the peerage role.

The family of Virginia Dufre have said that she has brought down

a prince with her bravery. This has been going on for a very long time, Patrick. I mean,

well, it's been going on since he first met Jeffrey Epstein, which is what 15, 16, 17 years

ago, but even since that sort of infamous news night interviews, where he failed to show any remorse,

why do you think it's taken so long to finally pierce the bubble, if that's the right analogy?

Well, there's been this drip, drip, and you know, should we, should we? And then, of course,

Virginia Drey's memoirs came out and, you know, reading him being condemned by her own voice.

I suppose we do need to say.

He denies all charges, but this has been going on and on,

and then the Times had the scoop that he wasn't paying any rent to live in Royal Lodge for the last 20 years, or was it, 30 years even.

And so actually, it's a damage limitation.

The royal family doesn't particularly lose anything by not having a prince on the role.

Prince Philip had always wanted his family to be known by Mountbatten,

so now finally they get the prominence.

But it's just, they're trying to sort of not even brush him under the carpet,
