Today in the Marshall Proop podcast, we are looking back 30 years to the 1990, Indianapolis 500,

the first win for our friend, the amazing Ari Lyondike, driving for Doug Shearson, his Lola Chevrolet,

ended up being the class of the field.

But the main story here is our details

in more than a half hour and pretty solid minutia is the lack of expectations for Liondyke

and that smaller outfit to do what they did. Some important milestones in this race as well,

which we get into towards the end, and also a nod from Ari to the Junior Open Wheel Training Series where he got his start.

And coincidentally, I got my start as well as a young mechanic back in the mid-1980s.
