Normally you get the questions out, the call for questions Monday around noon.

Get to the show, post that hopefully on a Monday night,

and off we go.

Recording this at a 5 p.m. hour on a Wednesday.

Also, for fun, we just had the fire alarm go off,

and I just finished recording the show as the fire alarm went off

and went to save, and it froze at 8%

and after waiting 15, 20 minutes, it did not save any more than 8%.

And I tried everything I could to save the episode, but it failed.

So I have failed in getting the show done on a Monday, as I normally should.

I've failed in my first attempt to record this, had a little fun fire alarm to deal with.

And so I'm going to see if I can stop my cavalcade of failures and maybe possibly get the second attempt

here at this week's show done for y'all. Before I do that, we're going to dive right into
