One of our final episodes of 2021.

We're reaching back to Portland and Vancouver in 2000,

courtesy of my friend Brad Bernstein,stein photographer back then who like me brought along audio recorder

to capture the ambient sounds of the cart indy car series dragged mine around to a variety of places

not as often as i should have. Brad, though, oh boy.

He was an epic capturer of audio.

So thanks to Brad and the cassette tapes that he sent my way.

Dozens upon dozens of them, been able to convert them to digital.

And here we have yet another ambient audio feature of the glorious cart IndyCar series from the year 2000.

I think the majority of this is from Portland.

That victory went to Gilda Farron, part of his conquering season with Team Penske in the the wrenski as it was called the

renaird modified by penske renard using a explosionary rocket propelled Honda crazy by explosionary

i don't mean it blew up i, it just shot out of corners like you

wouldn't believe. So got the victory there, Portland, at Vancouver, a popular, popular win.

And the team, cool, green, home nation boy being the thrill from west hill paul tracy so in this you're going to hear a lot

of stuff you're going to hear some big burnouts to begin which i love you're going to hear some chatter on

pit lane as well brad would be walking up and down shooting photos he would just drop the recorder

so you

might hear pit crew you might hear whatever I haven't poured over every single

second of this so if there's anything bad said I apologize but should also

hopefully hear some Vancouver as well I seem to recall I was at this race
