Are you ready for a very random podcast to review a romcom I just watched?

We know I love movies.

We know I love a romcom the most out of all the genres.

And it is so difficult to make a rom-com that is truly funny,

truly romantic, and heartwarming. And I have to say, I am so in love. I am smitten with this one that I

just watched. It was a sneak attack. I did not see this coming. I should have, though, because Netflix said it was a 98% match for me. And I should have more faith in Netflix. And from now on I will because I just finished watching a movie called A Family Affair. I laughed. I cried. I laughed harder. I remember seeing the poster for it or the little

thumbnail for it and thinking, what is this? You know, two fancy movie stars, Zach Ephron and

Nicole Kidman, what is this going to be? This is going to be something silly. But they make fun of

themselves. They're poking fun at Hollywood and the fact that he's this big action star.

So it already starts with we're in on the joke. And I love that. And Joey King is in it. And she's fantastic. Great comedic

timing. Her face, her deadpan faces. She's already just perfect for a rom-com. And you're thinking, Nicole Kidman in a rom-com,

doesn't she usually do drama? She does. And that's why she's so good in this because she is like the

heart and soul of this movie. Also, speaking of heart and soul of this movie, Kathy Bates is in it.

And I love Kathy Bates. I once again have continued my trend of if I love something that someone has created,

I reach out to them and I tell them.

So, you know, I've been reading my crazy fantasy adventure books.

I reach out to the author afterwards.

And whether or not they respond to me, sometimes they do, sometimes they don't.
