The movie Barbie is booming.

Just look at the movie Barbie and how amazing it's done.

It's basically outshine tons of Marvel movies and it's the number one

Warner Brothers film.

Now if you've been following along with this podcast and you're one of the tens of

thousands of people who tune in every week you know that I love movies and

books and science fiction and fantasy novels just as much as I love things

like science, math, and of course medicine.

Now many of us have comfort TV shows, the kinds that are playing in the background,

we can say all the lines and laugh along with it without even having to watch.

I have comfort movies in the same way and I recently

had Star Wars episode one playing. Now before I go any further there are going to be

spoilers of Star Wars, Harry Potter, X-Men, I am Legend, and even Jurassic Park and other films in this

podcast.

So if you haven't seen these movies, I suggest you watch them because there are total A-plus

films, and right now you probably need that break to feel a little bit better about things

that are just going on in medicine. And so as I'm watching episode one I saw the

terrible scene in which quaigon jinn becomes stabbed in his upper abdomen by

Darth Mal's lightsaber and succumbs to his fatal injuries.

But then if you watch other episodes and played along some video games, these characters

get stabbed by Litesabers all the time and don't die.

And then John Wick was playing on TBS as it does multiple times a day and he's fallen off a building gotten stabbed and shot multiple times and he's still trucking along.
