Summary
We will learn:
- How to understand the defining moments that got you here without placing blame.
- How to find presence, even when the present moment isn’t where you want to be.
- The link between radical responsibility and mindfulness-based emotional intelligence.
Whose fault is it that you are the way you are? Or that you are where you are?
We tend to get tunnel vision when things aren’t going our way. But our limitations are all just perceptions. Instead of seeing them as roadblocks, we can choose to see what they’re funneling us toward.
But how do we finally move beyond blame so that the wider perspective is our default? That’s what we’re talking about today.
Our guest is Fleet Maull.
Dr. Fleet Maull is an author and a renowned growth mindset teacher who delivers his training programs and seminars around the world both in-person and online through Heart Mind Institute. He’s a meditation teacher and founder of the Prison Mindfulness Institute and National Prison Hospice Association, all while serving a 14-year mandatory-minimum federal drug sentence, 1985 to 1999. He’s all about taking radical responsibility for your life.
