Sometimes when I'm facing something really steep, so important for me at the base of that climb to go,

let me make my confession before I start the climb, because this is going to be stinking hard.

What happens next is so beautiful, and a cloud overshadowed them, and a voice came out of the cloud.

This is my beloved son. So instead of God saying, you need to back up, he says, I've made a way

for you to move toward me. I'm not as often disappointed when I get to the top of a steep climb

through?

Halfway through. Isn't it cool, too, that we were talking about this off camera. There are over 500

mentions of mountains. I need to find out how many valleys, because it's probably commiserate, but 500 mentions of mountains. I need to find out how many valleys because it's probably commiserate,

but 500 mentions of mountains in scripture. And I think, wow, how cool that God gave us this

story that is relevant. Because very few people have a flat life. For sure.

We usually have highs and lows.

And so, of course, a lot of those mentions of mountains are literal mountains, but some

of them, especially in the Salter, are figurative.
