Hey, Hey everybody welcome back to mind of the warrior dock with you here as always

snowed in down here in central Texas interesting Monday we've had some pretty atypical weather over the last week and

this week it's even crazier. Woke up this morning it was seven degrees outside.

We got about six inches of snow, overnight. I've got a four-wheel drive

so I could probably go do whatever I want. Actually went yesterday the town was all but closed down. I knew we were going to need some stuff

so I made a run to the store. Didn't even have to put it in four-wheel drive to do it.

You know I grew up at driving in conditions like this so it's not not all that

crazy for me. I can see how I definitely see how it would be for some people but

right when I got to the store they announced that they were getting ready to close so I had to run around kind of get a couple of things just to hold me over.

I kind of prepare for things like this,

so, but I try not to try not to dip into that

when I don't have to.

So, you know, better to be a little bit over prepared.

So, you know, got some stuff we might run a little bit short on. We haven't had any

issues in the Simpson household. So for lost power a couple of times today. Might lose power again during the

podcast but which is actually the reason that I'm not having a

guess this week because I didn't want to be on the middle of a Zoom call and have power go out.

But doesn't affect me as long as I'm just recording because I'm recording I can

record on battery power so that's not an issue so but interesting week man

for the first time I think in history every county in Texas is under a winter storm

warning power outages pretty much everywhere plan power outages in addition to the grid

just being overloaded because they're trying to keep the
