Good morning and welcome to the Independent Republic of Mike Graham right here on Talk Radio.

Well, welcome back to the Oasis of Calm on Talk Radio in a sea of what could only be described as madness.

McDonald's closes its doors today around the world, as does Prett-a-Molje and Costa Coffee.

Pretty soon there will be nowhere left to go.

And you'd have to wonder if the supermarkets are far behind.

Of course, there are still lots of numpties queuing up to buy stuff.

There are now people going into DIY stores and queuing up to buy stuff.

And no matter where you look, everywhere in the country,

it would seem that the supermarkets are full of complete idiots.

All weekend, despite pleadings and warnings from the government

and assorted health officials,

hundreds of thousands of people ventured out of their homes, into public parks,

public spaces and local markets.

In London alone, I saw thousands of people wandering about on Hampstead Heath,

and there were even more in Richmond Park, including hundreds of cyclists,

who seem to think it's a great idea for them to all coagulate together,

as if there's some kind of super fit version of human beings.
