Hello and welcome to the Scriptures A Real podcast. This is the podcast where we talk about things in the scriptures that have made them become very real for us so that we can draw more power out of them.

I'm your host, Kerry Mulestein, and this is a shortcast where it's just me, and I want to talk through a couple of things that are in Exodus chapter 3.

We've already done three episodes, one one shortcast and two longer episodes

on the Exodus. I could talk about this stuff for forever, but we won't give you 22 hours

worth of stuff, but I felt like here in Exodus chapter three, there are a few things that

are really worth going through. So you'll remember in the last episode where I was Lamara and I,

we got through where Moses as encountering God at the burning bush and realizing how holy

this is and he's going to take his shoes from off his feet because it's so holy.

And let's let's get then, so we're in Exodus chapter three.

We're really getting to verse seven then, where it says,

And the Lord said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt

and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows.

I love that phrase.

I've heard them and the idea, I know their sorrows. I love that phrase. I've heard them and the idea, I know their sorrows.

This isn't a surprise.

He doesn't know, he's not oblivious to what's been going on.

He knows their sorrows.

I'm sure that's true for us.

As I hear that, that becomes very real for me.

As I'm having sorrows over health struggles of my children or over friends that are going through

very difficult health struggles right now and emotional struggles of friends and family and so on.

There's real sorrow in there, but God knows my sorrow.
