Drug enforcement agents served a search warrant on a home in Mercedes, Texas, which is a city of about maybe, I don't know, 17 or 18,000 people.

And they were there on drug reasons, but they had a tip from an anonymous tipster that they needed to be careful

because there might be wild animals inside the house. And sure enough, when they busted through

the door, they found a white Bengal tiger, a bobcat, a kinkajoo, a handful of porcupines,

some llamas, some emus, and some deer, all at the house. At the house, like outside, I guess. Inside and outside. Oh, my God. You know, I never thought of a porcupine as a pet, an indoor pet, you know? They seem difficult. Well, I think cats scratch on the furniture enough. I can't imagine. You know, people complain, well, speaking of cats, people complain that cats aren't cuddly.

The heck are you doing with a porcupine, too?

So the narcotics investigation is ongoing, but they did bring game wardens from Texas

Park and Wildlife to fetch out the tigers. And here's a part of the story that you won't be surprised by.

The game warden said, quote, the animals were being held illegally without permits and their origins or unknown.

Well, yeah, it's a drug gang.

Of course they're not going to have permits for their Bengal tiger and bobcats.

All of the animals that could safely be taken to the Austin Zoo for medical evaluation were,

no word on what's going to happen to each and every one of them.

But when you watch Tiger King on Netflix, you saw that Joe Exotic was selling cubs.

So those cubs are all over the place, grown up into full-grown tigers right now.
