Hello, my friends, and welcome to the grand finale of the Book of Mormon.

It has been an incredible year of studying this magnificent book of Scripture.

It seems like a lifetime ago that we were back in First Nephi, having been born of Goodly parents.

And here we are in the last chapter of the Book of Moroni.

531 glorious pages of Scripture. And I hope that this has been a life-changing

year for you. It has been for me. And to be able to spend this much quality time with incredible

prophets of God bearing testimony of Jesus Christ, what could be better than that? Next year we'll be

moving on to the Doctrine and Covenants. Incredible Book of Scripture as well.

We've studied the Keystone this year. We'll study the capstone next year.

And I hope that you'll continue immersing yourself in the Word of God as we move forward.

Now I want to finish today or start today in our finishing today by talking about one of my favorite

trilogies and that is the Lord of the Rings trilogy. I love it. Tolkien was an

incredible writer, a creator of worlds, languages, cultures, conflicts, you name it.

And I've quoted Gandalf a time or two on Unshaken, but what's interesting to me,

especially in the movie version that Peter Jackson did, of the third and final installment.

When it comes to an end of it all, you can tell that Jackson just doesn't want to end things.

The Tolkien doesn't want to end things.

That the viewers and the readers don't want to end things either.

How do you say goodbye to Eragorn?

How do you bid a fun farewell to Gimli?

How do you do any of this when you've immersed yourself in a world that has become your own?

And I remember when I first saw that last movie, Return of the King.
