I had something on my mind that I thought I'd share with you. And I'm going to call it

morning pipeline meetings a time suck question mark, right? So when I was when I was a wee lad

growing up in a small area of Florida called the Green Swamp, I always dreamed of like sitting in on

important business meetings and, you know, making things happen, you know, kind of those

grandiose things that little, little kids think of. And I see the briefcase and whatnot. And I thought,

wow, that'd be really cool. So, So when I became a loan officer and then a branch

manager, I found myself having a daily morning pipeline meeting every workday, right? And as my own

personal pipeline grew from, well, originally, of course, no loans, but when it started

growing from a few loans to 50, 70 loans each and every month, and then as a branch manager,

and well, gosh, now, I mean, we literally have many hundreds of loans in our pipeline as we

close hundreds of loans a month.

And I found that the morning meetings, right,

the pipeline meetings that started off as a quick 15 minute update, you know, became an

hour or more. And there's two problems with that. So number one, getting bombarded with

information that I or you personally don't even need to know about.

You know, my team needs to know, my processor needs to know, my assistants need to know, but I don't, right?
