about being perfect. That's not possible, so it's not a worthwhile goal to strive for.

Self-Mastery is about embracing who we are, by thinking, acting, and speaking in a way that honors our true self.

Self-mastery means knowing how to self-regulate so that we can feel connected to ourselves and those around us, so that we can

make choices that lead to our long-term happiness and fulfillment.

When we master ourselves, we are in control of our lives, we are in control of our lives, we get to make our own destiny, and that is true freedom.
