Hey there, good morning and welcome to wake me up.

I'm so glad you're here today for a meditation on this week's theme of mastering yourself. In this meditation

we will use visualization to help orient you around becoming the best version of

yourself. You'll see the differences between who you are now

and who you want to be. And seeing that will help you master yourself. So let's dive right in and get started.

I recommend that you meditate sitting and any seat in your home will do.

However, you technically can meditate in any position you'd like.

So feel free to find a position that works best for you.

The most important thing is that the body isn't a distraction. So find a comfortable

position, whatever that looks like for you. And once you've found that position, just allow yourself to settle in.

Take a deep breath filling all the way into your lungs.

And as you exhale, slowly close your eyes.

Take this first moment just relax into a meditative state. It takes a little time to let your mind soften down. A couple things that can help with

that are just relaxing your face. Softening your jaw and dropping your shoulders down. For this first minute or so, just follow your breath.

Enjoy that rise and fall.

Enjoy that rise and fall and notice the little nuances of the breaths you take.

As you do that, you'll draw deeper and deeper within yourself. Oh, All right now that you're settled in, bring to mind yourself.
