The first day of President Trump's trivial trial in Manhattan

ended early Monday.

No, not for the commemoration of Passover, but so one of the alternate jurors could attend

a dentist appointment.

A court today was supposed to go to two.

That's an abbreviated supposed to go to two.

That's an abbreviated day at a recognized Passover.

But instead it's actually only going to go to 1230 because one of the alternates has a dentist appointment.

So the judge said that he's going to allow that alternate to go to the dentist appointment

saying we can't afford to lose one of our alternates.

Well I'm glad that New York justice system prioritizes oral hygiene.

Let's recall, Donald Trump is being kept from campaigning

in the race for president of the United States.

He is being kept from dealing with his many other insignificant

lawfare suits, not to mention family obligations, such as

his youngest son's graduation from high school.

But if an alternate juror needs a root canal, halt everything.

There's an open question about whether he'll be able to attend

to his son's graduation.

The judge said he'll consider that.
