Hey there, and welcome to wake me up. I'm so glad that you chose to be here this morning for this guided

meditation and which will set our intentions for the day. As we all know, there's tons of stuff going on around us all the time.

There's plenty of distractions and a lot of noise.

So by setting intentions, whether it's one or many, the mind is better able to filter out those things that we don't care to be as focused on.

I think you'll find that your day in general is more successful when you do this.

So go ahead and find a comfortable position that you'd like to meditate in.

And if you're starting from bed, I do recommend that you use this opportunity

to roll over and sit up. But of course you can meditate in whatever way works best for you,

your body, and the space you're in.

And once you've settled into that position, take a nice deep breath, fill all the way up through your chest and your belly.

Hold at the top and then exhale, release.

And as you do, you can just gently go ahead and close your eyes. Take this first moment of meditation just to allow yourself to settle in.

Mentally set aside everything else you have to do today, anything that was on your mind before you started this.

Use this time for yourself, to create calm and clarity
