Friends, one of the most important things to finding joy and happiness each day is focus,

being able to drive our attention to the things we want.

Yet, it's something that can be elusive to all of us at times. To some

degree, focus is a skill. We can practice and improve our ability to focus, which can help us to keep our attention on the things we want,

away from the things we don't want, and to help us quickly knock out those pesky annoying

little tasks that we all have to do. So focus is what we'll work

on today. But first, let's pause for just a moment. Take a couple of deep breaths just to collect ourselves

before the day begins. So wherever you are, take a deep breath in, fill all the way into your belly.

Hold it for just a second,

and exhale. Let it all go. No need to force it. Just let it fall out.

Inhale again, even deeper this time.

Hold and release. Now if you're in bed, go ahead and roll over.

Make your way to standing up. All right, now that we're all up and out of bed, let's get started with our meditation.
