We are here to talk about the Charlie Kirk assassination and recent information that has come out

indicating strongly that the assassin has not only been caught, which happened late last night or early this morning,

but also that he is apparently from a Mormon family and likely a Mormon himself.

That's why it's titled Charlie Kirk assassination, Mormon link, question mark,

will be telling you everything that we know right here on this podcast.

And by the way, I've got to say up front,

this is largely due to Rebecca Biblioteca and her incredible sleuthing and a lot of information

that she found out, which led us to decide that we needed to have a special episode today

instead of waiting until Monday and the regular newscast. So thank you so much for that, Rebecca.

Rebecca, now UVU, Utah Valley University, where the assassination occurred on Wednesday, September 10th, you have some connections to that place? Is that right?

I do. I have quite a number of direct connections to UVU. I have lived in Utah County for over 40 years, which is where UVU is. I have direct family members who graduated from there, who work there.

I had an immediate family member that was on campus when it happened. I have friends and neighbors

who are part of the faculty and staff there and even in upper leadership.

So, you know, when we understood that there was something happening there, a lot of us

have connections there.

It wasn't just the school.

It was the entire community that was absolutely on edge as everything unfolded.

It's been a roller coaster, if I can say that.

Yeah, well, it definitely has.

It's been just over 48 hours since the assassination occurred. So let's go ahead and let's start talking a little bit about this.
