0:05.7	Let's do bad news first. The bad news is today is the end of the Book of Mormon.
0:11.7	We've gone from First Nephi all the way through Mormon, the beginning of this
0:15.2	civilization as it comes to the new world, and now, as we saw last week, it's end of the Nephites. So this is the end of the Book of
0:22.2	Mormon. That's the bad news the good news
0:25.3	it's not quite the end of the book of Mormon we still have ether and moroni after today
0:30.9	because good old moroni I just didn't know how to quit I know his pain after today.
0:33.7	Because good old Maronai just didn't know how to quit.
0:33.7	I know his pain, okay?
0:36.0	Those of us that can be a little long-winded.
0:38.0	Maronai gets not just one, but three chances
0:41.2	to close the Book of Mormon. Today is going to be his first attempt
0:44.9	after he wraps up his father's writing and that'll be chapter here today's
0:48.9	Mormon 7 that's Mormon's final words and then Mormon 8 and 9 that's Moroni's final words but not
0:55.8	quite his final words because he's going to give us the abridgment of the book of
0:58.9	ether and include a second farewell in that book.
1:02.8	And then he's still not done, still alive.
1:05.1	I haven't been caught by the Lamanites yet.
1:06.7	They haven't destroyed the book or ended my life.
1:10.0	And so I might as well give you another sequel.
1:12.8	And that's his third and final attempt
1:15.0	to close the Book of Mormon
