Summary

As Mormon describes the sad world that he lives in and the decay of his people he knows both that the record he keeps will not his people. However, he does know that the record can and will save future people--including us! The Nephites fall, but from their tragic fall, Mormon hopes that we will rise. 0:37.0	I mean, we're excited for every study that we get to do.
0:47.7	But I've always loved the Book of Mormon in the Book of Mormon because there's so much, I don't know, humanness in the book.
0:59.6	Because of Mormon's pain and his experience, you can just sense that this is real and raw for him.
1:05.7	And maybe it's because I can sense him and Moroni in this book reaching through the millennia to our day because their hope is that we will read what they're writing and that we will learn
1:12.3	from the mistakes of their civilization.
1:15.0	We'll talk more about that in the episode, but I just, I'm really excited for this study,
1:21.1	if that's not too much of an introduction.
1:22.5	But before we do dive in, you had, was it a high or a low?
1:31.8	Well, let's see, I think it was starting out as a low, but I could twist it to be a high.

1:37.7	But we'll just say that it starts out with a little story that many of you have been on this journey with us from the beginning.
1:47.2	Because when our podcast first started, we mentioned that we were recording in our closet.
1:56.6	So we have kind of been through a recording studio journey.
