The US military has shot down another unidentified flying object soaring over Michigan on Sunday, the fourth high-altitude object shot down over North America in the past week and a half. Lawmakers and reporters have been pressing the Biden administration for answers, and on Monday, US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin responded to the situation. He answered questions and clarified that these objects "do not present a military threat to anyone on the ground," but still warned the government will "get to the bottom of it." 1:09.7	this past weekend, but they do sound pretty confident about this. I don't think the Americans

1:18.7	Council coordinator John Kirby says the decision to shoot down one object in Northern Alaska,
1:22.8	another over Canada's Yukon territory and another overlay here on in the upper Midwest were made
1:28.0	after calculating these objects did not pose a kinetic threat to people on the ground.
1:32.1	We assessed whether they were sending any communication signals. We detected none.
1:37.2	We looked to see whether they were maneuvering or had any propulsion capabilities.
1:41.7	We saw all those signs of that and we made sure to determine whether or not they were manned.
1:46.6	They were not. Kirby would not confirm the reported octagonal shape these objects had
1:51.6	and when asked if there are images to show the public, he deferred to DOD.
