The U.S. battles with the drug cartels along the Mexican border are tough enough.

But what happens when they match our capabilities?

U.S. law enforcement encountered a drone used by drug runners flying over the borderline.

It's dangerous from a number of point of view, but obviously they're using these drones

to do counter surveillance against law enforcement authorities and to smuggle things into the United

States.

Fox News cameras were rolling when U.S. Border Patrol agents in the Rio Grande Valley of

Texas intercepted a drone, how believed to have been operated by drug cartel members.

It originated in Mexico and flew across the U.S. Mexico border and they've shared the

drone footage and show that the drone was not on a joyride but engaged in surveillance

of U.S. efforts to secure the southern border.

They have enormous resources.
