Welcome to the Crazy Love Podcast. For many of us that have grown up in the church,

it's easy to have all the right answers when it comes to our faith.

In this week's teaching, Francis Chan challenges us to examine our relationship with God

to make sure what we believe is not just head knowledge, but a deep understanding

of the Father's love and the grace he's given to us in Christ. You know what was so cool about the whole time I'm thanking God because it's like everything

you're saying goes exactly what he's been telling me to share today. It was like last time

when Marcus shares like everything he said went exactly with what God was

showing me to share through his word and when when Junior got up here and shared about those who honor him with their lips but their hearts are far from him.

I'm just there praising God. Then it takes all the pressure off of me like I came up with a sermon.

I didn't come up with a sermon.

You know, this was from the word of God this week and it was just clear what was supposed to come

out and then for Raff to do that and then during worship the songs that we were singing,

and then for Nora to share so clearly,

man, I just love some of the things you said about,

we can say stuff and know stuff but I mean

there's something different when you actually love him and know him and there's

people that can talk about him there's people that can talk about him. There's people that could take tests in theology and

destroy you, you know, like their grade would be way better than yours. But it's not about that. It's not just about head knowledge,

it's about this relationship and knowing him deeply. And man, that's been everything that's

been on my mind, my biggest concern, because last weekend I was at this camp called Hume Lake.

Okay? And my daughters, Rachel and Mercy, were leading worship at this camp.

There are hundreds of women there. My wife was speaking at the camp because it was a mother-daughter

...
