that truly matter.

with a heart that beats for the things of God. Father, would you change us tonight?

Just make us more like Jesus, come Holy Spirit, enlighten the eyes of our hearts. Have something real happen inside of us that's not hype. It's not being talked into

anything but like lasting change.

I change who we are.

That we don't just do things, but you change who we are so these things become our desire.

God, just minister to everyone in this room.

As you know exactly what's going on in everyone's heart,

please God. what's going on in everyone's heart. Please God, please meet with us. Please amaze us. Every single

person in this room.

So, um... I'm actually not going to teach from Ephesians this week. I had a whole talk planned

and really feel like I'm supposed to go a different direction tonight.

See on Monday night I was speaking over at Stanford and I get a phone call right before I'm about to speak and it's it's from my mentor

who's this guy from India who has just I don't know that anyone has impacted my life more than he has and he was back in the

states and wanted to catch up but I couldn't catch up right then so he left a message

and said hey it seems like you're busy tonight. I'll call

you in the morning. So Tuesday morning I get a text from his son and his son says, hey, my dad was going for a walk this morning and he got hit by a car.

And he's 74 years old.
