Summary

Shutdowns, re-openings, surges, and guidelines . . . so much has changed since the COVID-19 Pandemic crashed into our lives two years ago. And it's bringing up all feelings. In this More Than Mom episode, Meagan and Sarah have a lighter (but still honest!) look back on things like our final outings, strongest pandemic memories, and shared experiences. What do we really remember, and are our recollections even accurate? We also share what we're eager to get back to and what will never be the same. We'll all be processing these squiggly feelings for a long time, and we think this reflection--on both the surreal and the sweet--is a good start. tips and encouragement. And remind you that it's really all gonna be okay. We're

Francis here with Sarah Powers. Hi Sarah. Hi Megan. How are you? Well, I'm good

0:31.4

and I'm feeling a little reflective because today we're doing I don't know I

0:34.9

guess a bit of a retrospective of the past two years. We're a little bit

0:39.4

past the two-year point since I would say most people in the United States and

0:45.0

Canada really started to feel the effects of the pandemic being in our

0:50.8

hemisphere. I guess I was saying. I know it was different all over the world but

0:55.0

we can we can speak to North America and I think that like just about two

0:58.9

years ago and like a little bit of change was when things really got real

1:03.2

around here. And man, there's some big changes and some of them we've just

1:08.6

gotten used to by this point. Yeah, it is really I think we're like

1:12.9

loosely referring to this episode as like a time warp or mind warp or something

1:16.8

and we'll probably we'll probably refine that title. But I find myself going

1:21.6

back and forth with like, oh my gosh, so much has changed in the last two

1:25.4

years. And then almost second guessing like, well, maybe did everything just

1:29.2

change like in the first six months and then we it's been like do normal like

1:33.0

new normal for the last year or not. But it really hasn't there have been
