as we record this maybe the moves are pretty much done for a little while a lock you know it takes

it takes at least 24 hours to get someone in through a physical so but since we last spoke a lot

has happened including a story from Bradford William Davis plenty ofenty of physicals. Well, yeah, plenty of physicals have happened. But Bradford William Davis had a story about highly variable baseballs in play throughout the 2021 season. We're going to save that for Friday, along with all the CBA related stuff, because we have the triumphant return of one Brit Geroli to the show that day. And there's plenty of non-transactional stuff to get to. So we're going to kind of put that over on the Friday rundown and kind of pick up where we left off on Monday. Because I think within, I don't know, an hour or two of us recording the Monday episode. You got Robbie Ray right. I got Robbie Ray right. I got that the timing of when

that episode came out and when that news broke, hopefully to anybody who's ever thought about how long

it takes to just edit a podcast, they would know that I couldn't have possibly cheated. Why would I

do that? It's a dumb thing to cheat about or lie about. Anyway, Robbie Ray became a mariner.

Corey Seeger went to Texas. I think we were split on this. I think I looked at Corey Seeger and the idea of them getting another infielder after getting Marcus Simi, another middle infielder. And I thought, oh, that seems weird. And you said, no, this is real. They're in pursuit. It happened. Corey Seeger joins the party in Texas. It's 10 years.

It's $325 million.

And I gotta say, like, regardless of snap reactions to the deal and whether or not in year

nine and 10, Corey Seeger is still the kind of player that you want to be giving

$30 plus million to.

I love when teams who haven't been spending start spending again.

I like when teams are trying to get actively better.

And when you take Seeger and Semyon alone and just add them to a Rangers roster that was

pretty flat and pretty boring for most of the 2021 season, you could be adding as many as like, what, 15 war probably?

Like if you think about like high outcome, like high end outcomes for both of those players,

you're probably bumping at least 10 war from the two players combined.

And they're probably not done, right?
