Hello, my name is Jesse Meekam with another episode of the Jesse Meekam show, and I'm here each week to obsess out loud about spending purposefully, saving aspirationally, and giving joyfully.

It all comes down to just, well, it all comes down to, I'll tell you what it doesn't come down to,

making more money. It does not come down to making more money. Now, you know, when I'm talking to

you, as this audience goes, I'm not talking about people that really do have an actual income problem.

Below the poverty line, maybe even a little above it, and they are dealing with an income issue.

I'm not talking to these people. I'm talking to you. And I want you to set aside the idea that because

you experience money worry, the solution is to have more of the thing that worries you. Now, some might say, well, no, Jesse, you don't get this, like I'm worried about buying things. So if I had more money, I wouldn't be worried about it because I could buy those things. It's actually not true. You're worried about the money itself. You're worried that there's not enough of it. True. You're worried that it's doing the wrong thing. Absolutely. You're worried that what you just spent on. It's maybe not quite right. You're worried that you're forgetting about something. Therefore, you shouldn't buy this thing. You are worrying about money and how you go about it and what to do with it. It's not just, I'm worried about money.

I'll earn more. Money were he solved. And I'll prove this because the other day, I spoke at this

like a couple's night, and it was business owners and their spouses. And these business owners

range from well-to-do to weller to do.

And I had them answered, do you worry about money?

Every hand went up, every single hand.

Now, do they worry about money on behalf of their children?

Perhaps.

Do they worry about paying the light bill?

No, they do not.

But they have money worries. And how do we

attack those worries? Well, first, we understand what money is that it is you, all of you,

rolled up into earning that extra dollar, and then we also attack how we spend the money,

how we think about spending the money. And for that, we just work

them through the five questions where they're giving every dollar a job, and suddenly that worry,

no more income earned, that worry starts to decrease. Do not think for one second that your money
