So today we're going to talk about a question about life that has been puzzling me lately and I will suggest some quality screen time.

But first Elizabeth, what's making us more happier? What's something making you more happier?

Well, Gretchen, this might not sound like something that would make somebody more happier,

but what is making me more happier is having actual deadlines.

I think a lot of people would say that deadlines

don't make them happier, but you're finding that they do make you happier.

Why?

Well, I mean, you know, I'm an obliger and Sarah, my writing partner is an obliger.

So we need accountability, but we have been in the free work realm for a long time.

But we sold something recently, and once you've actually sold something, there are real deadlines,

not just deadlines that sort of we've created for all use, but actual deadlines that we have to meet and we just find we

work so much better when that is the case so we have just really been enjoying being productive, getting our work done, getting something in early, checking it off our list, just basically a feeling of productivity

that I can't get any other way

than from meeting a solid deadline.

And then I just feel so good once it's past.

See, this is interesting because I do not like having a deadline.

That's one of the reasons as a writer.
