Lunar Soil, Sierra Space, and oxygen.

How do they go together, Bob?

Sierra Space is just completed tests of a system for extracting oxygen from the lunar soil. The lunar soil is about

40% made up of oxygen items in the in molecules and this has been known before the, I reported this about a month

and so ago. The Chinese themselves have tested a system to doing the exact same

thing. I think the Sierra Space test is a little bit more advanced it completed it did

this test where it actually grabbed simulated lunar soil which is very abrasive

and jagged and difficult to work with it was able the soil which is very abrasive and

feed it to 1800 degrees Celsius which is really hot and melt a lot of things and

extract the oxygen from it and this is important for future bases on on on the

moon John because they will they will need oxygen for a lot of reasons and it's now

potentially very easily accessible with processing that can be brought there.

This is quite separate from the water talk on the moon, right? Very different.

Yeah, there was an asteroid that was just recently discovered just before it was going to do a fly-by of the Earth from about 600,000 miles away, aimed radar equipment added to get radar images and I posted those images up they were able

to observe its rotation over a 10 hour period and the images are very cool.
