Maida Mordeke remembers first hearing Nancy DeMoss Walgamuth on the radio back when Revive Our Hearts was a 15-minute program.

The first one that I heard was how God revives a broken heart, tried versus brokenness.

Proud people are self-righteous.

They have a critical fault-finding spirit, but broken people are compassionate.

They can forgive much because they know how much they've been forgiven.

And then shortly after that, it was the husband encouragement challenge.

And I thought, wow, this stuff is good. I need this.

And did listening to this biblical teaching start affecting Mata's life?

That's a question you've you gotta ask by your husband.

Okay, here's Tom.

I think it changed her attitude in a lot of different ways, also in our marriage,

which is also important, and also probably changed my mind because of the fact that she was being changed

at the same time through the ministry.

And I listened along on the radio as well.

So I was pleased with the content of the ministry.

Tom says Mehta discovered revive our hearts at a time she most needed to hear it.

And she had been very busy at work, and then she had an accident there.

She couldn't work anymore. She was a nurse and she's worked in neonatal intensive care.

And so she couldn't work anymore.

And this was a big blow to her to lose these things.

And I think these programs help channel her thinking in the right way

and encourage her very much.
