quarterfinals? And I dare say if he'd have been asked the question a year ago, where do you

think you'll be a year from now? He probably would have wondered what on earth's going on. But he's

into the quarterfinals in Monte Carlo and he is one of a few people we have to talk about on this special midweek show here of the tennis podcast with me, David Law, and Matt Roberts.

And no, Catherine Whittaker, who is on a night out, which is absolutely fine.

You know, we're going to do a few more of these

and mainly because there's just too much going on some weeks

to cover it all in the one show.

And actually it feels like a really good time to be doing this

because that was indeed quite a scene.

Feels like the definitive Valentine Vasoro question, really, doesn't it?

Like, we all knew him from this tournament.

You know, he was always in the drawer in Monte Carlo not doing an awful lot.

And then suddenly has that run in Shanghai and he's backing it up really

really well I have to say and two nights in a row we've had late night Vashiro scenes in

Monte Carlo and he's whipping the crowd up and playing with such intensity.

And yeah, it's been a really good time.

Yeah.

And in fact, it's a really good tournament every year this one, isn't it, Montecaro, I think.
