Summary

In Moneyball, Michael Lewis discusses the most exciting part of baseball -- the front office! (Closely followed by hot dogs, box seats, bench-clearing fights, and when the game is canceled.) 1:16.9

Baseball is such a tough sport to have one of your children play because with most other sports,

1:22.3

hockey, basketball, soccer, it's like when they're playing, you see them playing for a long time.

1:31.7

But in baseball, depending on how good your kid, even if they're great, it can take forever to wait to see your kid get up to bat.

1:45.0

Like when you go to a ballet recital with your little girl, it's the same as having a little boy play baseball because you're just waiting for like 75 minutes just to see them do something.

1:51.2

Yeah, it's almost like as a parent, if your kid is playing a sport, you want that sport to have a lot of two things.

1:55.0

A lot of cool moments and a lot of your kid and baseball has neither.
