Police are now calling the shooting and stabbing incident in Folsom Friday a possible suicide by

police. The suspect who was shot by police died and the young child he is accused of stabbing.

Six-month-old Roberto Vererla died last night. His mother, Arila Aguerla, who was also stabbed, remains in critical condition.

Police have not yet released the name of the attacker or a motive in the killing.

The woman stabbed was the suspect's aunt.

The Sacramento County Sheriff's Department says 49-year-old Stacey Welsh is missing and at risk.

Welsh's daughter says the last time she spoke to her mom, she said that she feared for her safety.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Stacey Welsh are urged to contact the

Sacramento County Sheriff's Department. The Welsh is described as a white female adult who

Last December, an audit of records from Sacramento City Fire EMS offices showed that 100 vials of morphine were missing.

After five months, it was discovered that the vials did not go missing. They were not inappropriately

used or abused, but instead a clerical error was to blame. The audit also claims fire staff

members were not verifying the number of morphine vials in their inventory.

And the Placer County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help and finding a missing

truckie man. The family of Eusebio Nunes, age 49, said the man didn't return home when they

expected. Nunes was last seen leaving his home on Friday, July 25th, around 8.30 a.m.

He is a local business owner and was last seen

wearing gray dress pants. Nunes is Hispanic, six foot tall, weighs about 175 pounds with brown hair

and brown eyes. He was driving a gray 2001 Honda CRV with a California license plate, 7BDN 819. Anyone
