Welcome to Hanson McClain's Money Matters. I'm Scott Hanson.

I'm Pat McLean. Thanks for joining us.

That's right. We are here this weekend, the first weekend in August, both myself and my

co-host here. We're both financial advisors. We spend our weekdays working with people like

yourself, helping them plan their finances, and we come here on the weekends to be your financial

advisors on the air. We are both practicing advisors, meaning we're not theoretical.

And we're not professional talk show hosts.

And that will be apparent as the show goes on.

And anyways, my point behind that is that this is, yeah, this is stuff that we do day in and day out.

And we come here to answer questions and to give you second opinions and help you make some wise choices with your finances.

And actually, I think, Scott, I can tell you, I get every bit as much out of doing the show

just from the questions we ask because you get a broad view of what the consumer is thinking consumer

Anyway, but we're here today to talk about financial issues.

We don't talk about every news story.

We don't talk always about what the markets are doing.

We try to sort through some of the noise and bring up some things that might have some relevance to you.

And, of course, we take your calls, answer your questions on things that are going on in your financial world.
