Well, it was billed as the first ever matchup between two starting QBs who had won both the Heisman Trophy and an Associated Press NFL MVP award. Cam Newton led New England to a 2317 win over

Lamar Jackson's Ravens on Sunday night football. Jackson, of course, had better stats,

throwing for 249 yards and two touchdowns plus a pick compared to Cam's 118 passing yards

and one touchdown throw, but

Newton is quick to credit his head coach Bill Belichick for having the team prepared.

Everything that coaches throughout the week, it tends to come up and, you know, I'm beginning

to think he either has like a Staples easy button or a Buffalo Wild Wings button or just a straight direct line to the football guys because he's like a football whisperer when it comes to anticipating what the game is going to be like, how we need to win and things like that.

I'm extremely impressed with that.

But for me, trying to find ways to keep this team in a manageable situation offensively is

one of the things that I have to keep doing and keep doing a better job at.

Well, the Patriots have now won back-to-back games for the first time this season,

upping their record to four and five, and received some pretty good

news as the AFC East leaders, the Buffalo Bill suffered a heart-breaking, 32-30 loss to the Cardinals.

Buffalo scored a go-ahead touchdown with 34 seconds left in regulation, and that's when

Kyler Murray went to work. He connected

with all-pro receiver DeAndre Hopkins as he out jumped a trio of defensive backs and managed

to come down with a 43-yard pass to give Arizona the lead with just two seconds left in the game.

Of course, D. Hop would do that, right?
