It is Monday, everybody, and nobody has a case of the Mondays.

I'm very excited to be here. Happy to be back in the Northeast.

Excited to be back on this show, a little morning show action. I forgot how much I love sleep,

but we're dealing with it. Let's go. It's time for the lead block.

Lead block. Okay, so the last time we saw Joe Burrow and his Bengals, they were falling to Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs in the AFC Championship game.

Mahomes was the better quarterback that night, but that fact didn't stop former Bengals quarterback Carson Palmer from making this claim with his brother Jordan on the quarterback room podcast.

I think Joe's the best quarterback in the league.

I like it.

I know Patrick is phenomenal, but I just think Joe's more consistent.

Joe is just, talk about not having a weakness, mentally strong, physically tall, accurate, can throw it far enough, fast enough, gets the ball out quick,

and then he can actually do a lot with his legs. He just rarely shows it. And it's not, I think

he's his athletic outside the pocket, you know, and can do a lot of the same things Patrick

Mahomes has done. He hasn't done it and showed it yet. He's played more within his system and

style, but I think he's the best quarterback in the league. Wow. Okay. So by the way,

the Carson Palmer family gene, the Palmer gene is strong. They look exactly alike. So

that is an interesting take from Carson Palmer. What do you make of him saying that Joe Burrow is the best quarterback in the league better than Patrick Mahomes?
