0:52.9	Let me be very clear. Obviously, the over 200 lives
0:56.2	that were lost is the most devastating thing so far, but most homes did not have flood insurance.
1:04.6	Only 2% of homes damaged in Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina had a policy protecting them from floods.
1:12.5	And you're probably thinking, but why wouldn't they have flood insurance? Because they do not
1:16.8	live in a high-risk flood zone, which is determined through FEMA flood maps. A lot of the
1:22.5	damage that was done during this hurricane was in a mountain town. The lack of coverage will slow recovery efforts
1:29.7	cause people to spend their entire savings and even force some of them to abandon their homes.
