Hey, friends, welcome back to yet another episode of Everyday Truth.

Excited to be in the book of Proverbs, learning about

wisdom, learning about the fear of the Lord, learning some great general principles about

how to live life.

I think it would be a great thing for many of you to consider at least reading a proverb, what I mean a proverb, a chapter in

proverbs, every single day. Just read one proverb a day. It just takes about five minutes.

And if you were to do that, let's say for a year, then you would read proverbs through every month.

You'd get through the entire book 12 times. It's a book of wisdom. And I just

think it's a good practice. For some time when my kids were young, we would do a proverb a day

just for family devotions. We would read and each one would read a verse and we'd just read

around in a circle until the proverb was over.

And then I would ask the kids,

hey, which verse stuck out to you and why?

And it was just an easy way to have a little family time together.
