brand new edition of a book of the Bible.

We are in the book of Proverbs right now. I probably should have figured out how many

books of the Bible we've done already on everyday truth. I know it's been a ton, but we've never done

proverbs for a couple reasons. Number one,

it is a longer Old Testament book, 31 chapters long, but also because of the nature of the book,

you could spend years just in Proverbs alone because they're just so power-packed with wisdom and truth

that it would be very, very easy to get bogged down. Not in a bad way. I think you're never

really bogged down when you're studying the Bible, but I think you know what I mean. I'd like to

keep things moving on our podcast.

Chapters 1 through 7 of Proverbs do kind of read a bit differently than the rest of Proverbs.

And what I mean by that is they're more narrative.

They more are staying within topic over the course of the entire chapter, and it lends itself

a little bit more to the kind of study we do here on Everyday Truth.

That's not to say that we won't ever talk about Proverbs 8, 9, and following, we certainly

will, but for now I'm committing to doing Proverbs
