What do you say we start off your week with some good news?

Job growth was stronger than expected last month.

The economy added 177,000 jobs in April. It is a bit less than March,

but economists had only predicted we'd add 133,000. The unemployment rate remained steady at 4.2%. Wall Street liked this news, and stock futures and treasury yields both went up after this report dropped.

Experts say we can push recession concerns off for another month, so that's great news.

Now, areas that lost some jobs, the government, which we know, a total of 9,000 jobs in April alone, and manufacturing lost 1,000 jobs.
