having traveled to Turkey for a few days last week. And I do, welcome back. I'm here in the studio, having traveled to Turkey for a few days

last week. And I do want to apologize to you for the confusion of the little short reel

that was produced. That's done randomly, by the way. We don't produce those shorts. They're just produced randomly.

And the way it came out on Friday made it sound like I was going to Jerusalem and I was going to be in prison.

I had people reaching out to me saying, we hope you're okay. I was simply telling the story of Paul going to Jerusalem and the way they cut it off

in the short made it sound like it was me. So I'm safe. I'm not in prison. I'm not in Jerusalem,

but I feel loved by many of you. So thank you for your concern. We are in First Kings chapter 17 today. And as you know, we're talking about

the kings of Israel, the good, the bad, and the ugly. We're in a section where we have an

ugly king, bad and ugly. His name is Ahab. He's worse than any king that has preceded him, which is saying

something because there have been some pretty bad ones. But Ahab has gone to the next level in that

he has married a Sidonian bride by the name of Jezebel.

She has imported her bail worship to the country of God.
