How you doing hope it's been a nice holiday weekend for you a bunch of musicians celebrating birthdays today

Before we get to all the headlines. I'll rattle a few off Mel B from the Spice Girls

She's 48 today. Noel Gallagher is celebrating as well. Melissa ethridge, Latoya Jackson and last but not least Danny Elfman

I love Danny Elfman. He was in a band called Oingo Boingo

But then he went on to do the soundtracks and scores for a ton of movies the nightmare of or Christmas Batman

Beetlejuice he composed the Simpson's theme song

Anyway, I could keep going happy birthday Danny Elfman and today of course is Memorial Day always observed the the last Monday of May

It's a day to acknowledge members of the armed forces that lost their lives while serving very important day

It's Memorial Day in America

Everybody's on the road. Let's remember our fallen heroes

Okay, all right a quick and efficient look at all the headlines across the board

I always start with the top story and you guys it finally happened Saturday night negotiators are president Biden and House Speaker McCarthy

Struck a deal that will raise the debt ceiling and avoid the default

Hurray raising the debt limit for two years with this plan. They did it

It seems they they both compromised a bit they both see the agreement as a win and now they just have to convince their parties

They have until June 5th a week from today to get it through Congress and since it was a compromise

It's inevitable that you know certain members are not going to be happy about it

So while this tentative deal is good news for the economy. We're not quite there yet. We'll know for sure in a week
