Okay, friends, we're going to hit it running today

because I promised you last episode

that we would do the best we could

to finish out this chapter,

chapter number 21 of the book of Matthew.

So let's dive in, verse number 33. Jesus is speaking to some critics

that have interrupted his teaching in the temple. This is the last and final week of Jesus' public

ministry. He's there in Jerusalem. It's the feast of the Passover that's just at hand, just about to start.

And it says in verse number 33, here another parable. So a parable is a story about a well-known

thing in people's lives, something that people could associate with, that really drives one point home.

So here in verse 33, here another parable. He has just given them the parable of the two sons

and the one that wouldn't obey but then did, the one that said he would obey but didn't.
