all, how that we have an invitation to come to his feast, but there are grave warnings if we don't come the way that God wants us

Okay, friends, brand new chapter today, Matthew chapter 22, and we are in another parable

that essentially teaches the same principle that we have been learning

over the past few days. But I love how the Lord gives us different stories, different angles

to see the same truth. And the Lord is reiterative in that way. He helps us to see truth from

different facets so that it becomes more concrete in our lives. And that's what we're going to find

today. So Matthew 22, the book of Matthew only has 28 chapters. So we're really in the final section of the book of Matthew only has 28 chapters so we're really in the final section of the book

in fact we're in the final week of Jesus life on earth now we obviously he rises again and

and appears for 40 days and he lives for eternity of of course. But as far as his human ministry is concerned,

he's in the last week of his public ministry. And he's in a season in this last week,

like Tuesday, where he's really being challenged. He's being challenged by the religious elite.

He's being challenged by those that are, their mind is, is fixated on what the Jewish traditions were

and they just don't see him as the Messiah. And all of that opposition comes to bear in this chapter and especially

in the next chapter. So in Matthew 23, Jesus just lets loose on the character and the hypocrisy of

the religious leaders. And we'll talk about that as we get there. So Matthew 22,

verse number one, and Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables. So Jesus, no doubt,

did much more teaching than what is included in just what we're reading. And John alludes to
