Why is it that we see so clearly what's wrong in other people's lives? And yet we're so blind to those

same things in our own life. Today's parable is a great example of how we do that and how we

Hey, friends, I promised you that we would talk about a stunning story that Jesus told to the religious leaders

who had interrupted him in his teaching ministry at the temple and had dared

to ask Jesus by what authority are you doing your teaching? And I meant to say this yesterday,

but, you know, sometimes unwittingly, we ask that question to the Lord. You know, we read the Bible and the Holy Spirit

convicts us about something that maybe we're doing or not doing. And if we're not careful,

that pride will well up in our lives and we'll kind of ask the nonverbal question of the Lord

and say, well, what authority do you have to teach me?

What authority?

He's the son of God.

He has authority.

And we need to submit when the Word of God is taught, especially because we know it's the

word of Jesus.

So what does Jesus say to these Pharisees, these chief priests, these elders who have just tried to shut him up.

But look at verse number 28. So Matthew 21 and verse 28, where Jesus says, but what think ye?
