Good morning, America. Let's get right to the breaking news in the war with Iran. Three U.S. fighter jets were shot down by friendly fire. The pilots are okay.

Iran has been launching retaliation strikes across the Gulf. The U.S. and Israel launched a second day of airstrikes and bombings

after killing the Supreme Leader and reportedly decimated Iran's top leadership while hitting

thousands of targets across the country. President Trump now weighing in on all of it, speaking

directly to ABC News. We have team coverage this morning, beginning with chief foreign correspondent

morning, Ian. Yeah, good morning, Robin. The fire that began with a U.S. Israeli strike on Iran

Saturday now spreading throughout this region. Almost every country in the Middle East now dragged

into a conflict that the President warns could last week, one that is now exacting a toll on US forces.

This morning, as America and Israel's massive attack on Iran intensifies,

three American F-15E strike-equal fighter jets were downed in a friendly fire incident in Kuwait.

One jet seen with smoke and fire coming from the back as it falls from the sky in a

spin, a parachute visible in the distance floating to safety. All of the six crew members survived.

The Pentagon confirming the jets shot down by Kuwaiti air defense systems, saying it's investigating.

And now we're learning more about the first American casualties.

At least four American service members killed in an Iranian attack in Kuwait,

another five severely injured.

President Trump responding to the news in a new video posted to social media.
