This one just broke.

French President Emmanuel McCrone just dissolved the country's parliament.

As far as I can tell, a far right party

is really gaining traction over there.

So he is calling for a snap election.

It will hold two rounds of parliamentary elections,

which will elect the 577 members of the lower house.

I'll be honest, I'm still trying to keep up with what's happening in US politics,

so I don't really have a firm grasp on the European Union,

but I do know that this is a big deal the new elections which

are seen as a risk by McCrone will start later this month.

All right okay moving to sports.

There's actually quite a bit here.

Caitlin Clark is still dominating news on all the sports sites.

And right now the headline has to do with the Olympics.

It looks like she did not make the final 12-player roster for the USA women's

basketball team. The Olympics gets started next month in Paris and

Caitlin's name is not on the roster. She was asked about it by reporters and

she said quote I'm excited for the girls that are on the team. I know it's the
